Librado De Hoyos Bio

I am a proud graduate from Hidalgo High SchooI and I grew up as a migrant worker who migrated to different states working in agriculture. My parents instilled in us early on that education was extremely important. I graduated from the University of Pan-American with a bachelor’s in criminal justice. I hold a teaching certificate, a master’s in educational administration, and a Superintendent’s certificate. I bring knowledge and experience from the academic setting as a teacher in the elementary level, secondary, and central office. Before entering education, I worked as an adult probation officer for Hidalgo County. I am currently the Chief PreK Collaboration Officer working with 9 school districts to ensure a smooth collaboration between Head Start and the ISDs.
